Expanding on the success of last year’s exciting conference. AVRASA is keeping up the momentum by seeking your enthusiasm and dynamic proposal to present at our 2024 conference!


Presentations should be 1hour or 1.5 hour(s) long and will run concurrently; moderated sessions will also be available during this event as well. 


      The goals of this year’s conference are to:

Explore how counseling profession has changed since COVID 

Explore effective services while considering expansion of client population, counselor wellness and identification of self-care

Expand the vast field of rehabilitation counseling and the types of jobs rehabilitation counselors hold 

Provide opportunities for dialogue on the changes in laws that affect the professionals in the field and the clients that are serviced

​Provide information on cultural awareness and ethical standards within rehabilitation

Discuss changes in our health care system and enhancing services

Explore telehealth services and the impact on the counseling profession 

Explore the role of the Rehabilitation Counselor in different types of work settings








Suggested Proposal topics can include but are not limited to:

 Effective therapeutic interventions for keeping MAT patients motivated and engaged in treatment.
